Create a New Donation Campaign

Create a donation campaign to accept contributions through Mazlo. Customize your campaign, set fundraising goals, and preset tax-eligible accounting codes to streamline acknowledging donors.

Create Mazlo Donation Campaigns to accept donations directly to your Mazlo account or sub-project, empowering you to receive donations effortlessly.

How do Mazlo Donation Campaigns Work?

Donors can give easily: In just a few moments, a donor can give to your organization. They can even opt to cover the processing fee.

Spread the word: Share your custom donation page, embed it as a form on your website, or share the QR code to reach more donors.

Safe and secure: We partnered with Finix, a trusted payment system, to process all donations, so it lands securely in your Mazlo account.


Create a Custom Donation Page

Step 1: Click ‘New Donation Campaign’


Step 2: Enter the Title of the Donation Campaign

Step 3: Select the Account this Donation Page will Deposit Into

Click 'Select Account.'

Select the account that this donation page will deposit donations into.


Click to upload the image.

Review the featured image. The recommended dimensions are 500x250 for the image to fit properly.


Step 5: Enter the Description of the Donation Page


Step 6: Select the Default Accounting Code for Payouts from this Donation Page

Click the accounting code field to select a default accounting code for donation payouts from this donation page.

With an accounting code selected, donations will be automatically tagged with an accounting code in Mazlo.

*If you select a tax-eligible accounting code, donor acknowledgement letters will be generated for your review automatically.

Not sure which accounting code to select? Reach out to your fiscal sponsor! You can always update this code later.


Step 7: Set the Fundraising Goal by Entering an Amount

Enter the fundraising goal to add a widget that will track the donation campaign's progress. You can also leave this blank.


Step 8: Create Donation Preset Options

Click ‘Add Option' to create a custom preset option for donors.

Enter the name of the preset option.

Enter the amount of the preset option.

Select an accounting code specifically for the preset option.

Click the toggle to enable the preset option as a monthly contribution by default.

Click 'Add Option' and repeat the process for all preset contribution options.


Step 9: Preview the New Donation Page

Click 'View Preview.'

The preview will show you the new donation page before it's published.

Click the X in the top left corner to return back to the editing page.


Step 10: Complete the Details and Create the Campaign

With the donation page details complete, click 'Create Campaign.'

Success! The new donation campaign is now published.
