Add a New Contact for a Recipient and Upload a W9

Create a contact profile for a recipient, where you can upload pertinent documents and track payments made with your fiscal sponsor's approval.

Introduction

Whether you need to pay for a good, service, or reimbursement, you can easily create a contact profile to send a payment via ACH or paper check with your fiscal sponsor's approval.


Create a Contact Profile for a Recipient

Step 1: From the Contacts Page, Click 'Create Contact Profile'

Next, select whether the recipient is an Individual or a Business.


Step 2: Enter the Recipient's Name and Contact Information

Enter the contact's first and last name. You can also add their contact information, such as their email to send them a tax acknowledgement letter. Then click 'Next.'

Enter the Contact's Address

Optionally, you can save the contact's address. To skip this step, click 'Next.'

Other Info

Enter the organization's EIN. To skip this, click 'Next.'


Step 3: (Optional) Enter the Contact's Banking Information

First select the recipient's bank account type. Then enter the name of the recipient's bank, account number and routing number. Then click 'Done.'

To skip this step, you can click 'Done' without banking information.

Success! The contact profile is now saved in Mazlo.


Review and Edit a Contact Profile

Step 1: Update the Contact Profile

Click 'Edit' to update their contact information.

Click 'Edit' to update the contact's physical address.

Open the Payment Details Tab

From the Payment Details, click 'Edit' to update the contact's banking information.


Step 2: Review the Contact's Transaction History

You can easily track the payment history for a contact in the Transactions tab of their profile.


Upload Pertinent Documents for a Contact

Step 1: Select the Other Tab to Upload the Contact's Pertinent Documents

Here you can upload the contact's W9, if needed.

And you can upload other documents for the contact, such as an invoice.
