Donor Acknowledgement Letters
This guide will instruct you on how to send a personalized donor acknowledgement letter.
Introduction
With Mazlo, you can generate donor acknowledgement letters automatically when you or a team member tag donations with a tax-eligible code. You can then customize the donor acknowledgement letter, download it as a PDF, or email the acknowledgement directly to the donor.
Send Personalized Donor Acknowledgement Letters
Step 1: Open Acknowledgements on the Navigation Menu

Step 2: Add a Personalized Note
Select 'Personalized Note' to add a message to the letter for your donor.

Click Save once complete.

Step 3: Download and Review the PDF of the Donor Acknowledgement Letter
Select 'Download PDF' to download a PDF version of the document.

You can click 'Download Only' or 'Download and Mark as Sent' to move this letter to the 'Sent' status.

You may prefer to print and physically mail the donor acknowledgement letters, which makes this option ideal.

Step 4: Click 'Send' from the Options Menu
When you click 'Send' the donor will receive an email with the tax acknowledgement.

Step 5: Success! Your Donor Acknowledgement Letter will be Sent via Email

The email will also include an attachment of the tax acknowledgement for easy download.

Review Sent Letters with the Status Filter
Step 1: Add a Filter to Review the Sent Acknowledgements

Step 2: Select 'Status' to Review Sent or Unsent Acknowledgements

Step 3: Select the 'Sent' Filter

With the 'Sent' filter, you can review all the tax acknowledgements that have been sent via email or marked as sent during a download.
